AT223 : B.Sc. (HONS) AGRIBUSINESS
This programme is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of how to apply business principles to real-world issues in the agricultural industries. The interdisciplinary approach allows students to learn about the basics of business, such as marketing, economics and finance, while relating them to the agricultural industries locally and globally. A rapidly growing global population and the constraints of finite resources mean that we now require a savvier approach to the business of food production and food marketing. This course offers a contextual understanding of the global agribusiness, technology application in agricultural businesses, and supply chain in agribusiness as well as food marketing sectors to ensure that graduates are equipped with the science, technology and business skills needed to thrive in agricultural businesses. This course also provides a unique opportunity to understand both agricultural science and business as applied to agriculture. Successful completion of this course will lead to many job opportunities as graduates can serve in many industries and organisations including running their own agricultural business. .
