AT228 : BACHELOR OF SMART CROP PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY WITH HONOURS
This programme is designed to produce highly skilled and competent graduates in agriculture which emphasises on crop production. Successful graduates will also be able to uphold the dignity and reputation of their profession, and they will also be able to execute their professional skills to the best of their abilities. Students in this programme will be exposed to the use of cutting-edge technology instruments in smart farming and crop production. They will learn how to adapt to the new and state-of-the-art technology in agricultural sector and meet the expectations of stakeholders in the industry. This programme consists of 70% technology courses and 30% management courses. It adopts the industrial mode of study, where students will be placed in industries during the study period. Students will learn course theories through work-based learning, industry-guided, and real-life work learning activities. This programme is hands-on and application-oriented, and it emphasises techniques in executing profession-based tasks especially in agricultural sectors.
